Hey Hey Hey, back with another shoot I did with Addison this summer! Right away I knew I wanted to do this shoot during golden hour and I wanted to shoot at the top of a parking garage. I wanted this shoot to feel a little more edgy and have a street style vibe. I also let Addison choose her clothes again for this shoot and she was totally inspired by Hailey Bieber’s street style. So she went with a neon pink sports bra, black bike shorts, an oversized button up denim shirt, some super cute orange Fila sneakers and some high rise Nike socks. She accessorized with some layered chain necklaces, small hoops, and some big black sunnies. She also twisted her hair up with a claw clip, which is super in style right now. I also got a little out of my comfort zone and used a disco ball as a prop, which actually worked out really well because I was able to get some shots where the disco ball was reflecting onto her face. I also made this vision board above to get some inspo for poses and just to show Addison the overall aesthetic I was going for.
I also did this shoot with my 50mm f/1.8G lens which I seriously love for portraits. I had Addison try a bunch of different poses in different spots at the parking garage. I did a few where I had her lay on the stairs coming up to the top level of the garage and I shot from above. One of my favorite pictures of the shoot I had her throw the disco ball up and I took the pic just as the ball was leaving her hands. We were both inspired to do this pic by one of our favorite Instagram influencers, Paige Arminta. I also took one shot just of Addison holding the disco ball with her feet and I just had the sky in the background, and it seriously looked like it could be an ad for Fila! Addison and I had so much fun on this shoot and all the pictures turned out really cool!
